Sorry for the shaky video. Quite windy. Even with sandbags on the tripod and a sandbag atop the camera and lens, still couldn't keep the camera steady. This video should give you a sense of how bid the chicks are getting.
The baby osprey chicks are gone. Removed to be relocated elsewhere in Virginia? The parents stay quite some distance from the nest at the far end of the structure on which the nest was built.
The baby osprey chicks are gone. A lady from a local photography club told me she read in the paper that Langley will remove the fledglings and introduce them to another area in Virginia. Perhaps that is what happened to the chicks. Here, the pigeons have taken over the empty nest.
