Momma osprey and her chicks the 4th week I have been observing them.
After bringing a fish for the osprey family to eat, the male stays near by--unlike previously when he departed soon after making the delivery.
A short video this week. Didn't crop so the nest could be used as a frame of reference to judge the size of the babies. They seem to have grown a lot in the last week--feathers beginning to fill out. Momma osprey left the nest when I approached and stayed about 30 ft away. The chick now looks bigger than the pigeon that does a cameo on the lower right.
