In case you ever wondered, the baby chicks defecate over the edge of the nest. Obviously keeps the nest neater than if they just dropped it in the bottom of the nest. ;-)
Sorry for the shaky video. Quite windy. Even with sandbags on the tripod and a sandbag atop the camera and lens, still couldn't keep the camera steady. This video should give you a sense of how bid the chicks are getting.
